Other: At a young age, I was introduced to the Internet and I have been addicted ever since. My knowledge of English steadily improved and I spent more and more time at the computer. I started designing websites, writing stories in both English and Dutch, and made a large amount of friends through various forums, websites and instant messengers. In general, I spent more time in front of the computer than I did anywhere else.
I wish I could say this has changed since, but once a nerd, always a nerd.
Late 2001, I discovered an online community for artists. This inspired me to pick up drawing as a hobby as well. Up to September 2004, when I enrolled in a local art academy, I was self taught. I've come a long way since then and I'm very grateful for the help and support offered by those around me. A few years ago I also re-discovered my love for writing.
After having graduated from school in April 2008, I work part-time as a translator and administrative worker. In my spare time, I'm an avid roleplayer and writer, I do sports and religiously follow an unhealthy number of television series.
I live in Amsterdam with my mother, a part-time dog and a full-time cat who believes no drawing of mine is complete without an imprint of her furry butt. You think I'd learn not to leave them laying around, but alas.
